On January 3, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite without prior notice. The company continued its bet on the high-end with two quite capable phones when it comes to hardware. In fact, both phones inherit some of the characteristics of their namesakes. Now the South Korean firm officially brings the two devices to Spain for a price that when it comes out is quite far from that of its older brothers and that will be reduced predictably in the coming months.
With references to the Galaxy S20 in design and cameras
Just a week after the Galaxy S20 become official, the company has shown what is supposed to arrive in 2020 with the design of the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite.
Both use a small island-shaped notch that houses the front camera. The most curious thing of all is that both have the same 6.7-inch screen diagonal: both with AMOLED panels and Full HD + resolution.
If we refer to the back of the two phones, both have a rectangular camera module made up of three independent sensors, which we will talk about below. It should also be noted the presence of aluminum and glass as the main construction materials and the inclusion of the S-Pen in the Note 10 to interact with the mobile screen.
Returning to the camera part, the two devices have three sensors of 48, 12 and 5 megapixels in the case of the S10 Lite and 12, 12 and 12 megapixels in the case of the Note 10 Lite. The differences between one and the other, beyond the resolution of the sensors, part of the type of lens used: wide angle and macro in the S10 Lite and telephoto and ultra wide angle in the Note 10 Lite. In contrast, the main sensor of the S10 Lite is less bright than that of the Note 10 Lite: f / 2.0 compared to f / 1.8. The front camera is the same on both phones: 32 megapixels and f / 2.0 focal aperture.

Regarding the technical specifications of the two terminals, the differences with respect to their counterparts are few: while the Galaxy S10 Lite has a Snapdragon 855 processor, the Note 10 Lite uses the Exynos 9810 released by the Galaxy Note 9, a phone that was released in 2018. We will have to see how Samsung behaves with the updates of the latter taking into account the age of the processor.
It is accompanied by 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM in the case of the Note 10 Lite and 8 GB in the case of the S10 Lite, along with a 4,500 mAh battery and a fast charging system of 25 and 15 W respectively. Of course, both terminals have Android 10 as standard under Samsung One UI 2.0, and both support storage expansion through micro SD cards of up to 1 TB capacity.
Unfortunately, neither of them has wireless charging or reversible wireless charging like their older brothers.
Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite
The price at which we can find both terminals in Spain starts from 660 euros in the case of the S10 Lite and 610 euros in the case of the Note 10 Lite. We can buy them at the usual points of sale in Prism White , Prism Black and Prism Blue colors in the case of the S10 Lite and Aura Black and Aura Red in the case of the Note 10 Lite. The only versions available, by the way, are 8 and 128 GB and 6 and 128 GB of RAM and storage respectively.
