Do you want to know what the new Samsung folding mobile will look like? The economic alternative to the Galaxy Fold will be announced next February, and despite the fact that rumors have already revealed some characteristics, the physical appearance of the terminal has been seen in very few leaks. Weeks after its launch, we can already see in great detail how it will look, and it surprises.
Samsung's second folding phone will be called the Galaxy Z Flip, and it will have a clamshell design, just like the Motorola Razr. That is, it will consist of a flexible panel that will be folded in half, inward. In this way, you will achieve the shape so characteristic of shell-type mobiles. In this way, we can have a compact terminal when we are not using it, but with a large screen when we need to see content, write or surf the internet. The back appears to be glass, and will have a hinge in the center to allow the terminal to fold. In the upper area we find a double main camera, in addition to an LED flash.
6.7-inch perforated screen
The interesting thing about this terminal is on the front. In the images we can see that large flexible screen, which bends in the center. It looks like it will be 6.7 inches, and it will have a resolution of 2636 x 1080 pixels. Also, with a 22: 9 aspect ratio. That is, quite elongated. On the panel we see a selfie camera. Also a few thin bezels, with a small speaker for calls in the upper area. The frames will be made of aluminum. At the bottom will be the USB C connector and the main speaker.
WinFuture, the portal that has leaked the images, has also revealed some features. We know that it will have a range of 3,300 mAh. It will be accompanied with an eight-core Exynos processor, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The main camera will have a resolution of 12 megapixels. The second sensor, which will also be 12 megapixels, will be used for photographs for the ultra wide angle camera. The front camera will be 10 megapixels.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will be announced on February 14, just three days after the Galaxy S20 are presented. The price will be around 1,500 euros.
