Symbian, Nokia's platform is the one that most connects to the internet from mobile phones in Spain
Nokia also sweeps web browsing. This is pointed out by a study published by the Nielsen consulting firm echoed by the Xataka colleagues. In the market examination that has been carried out on the trends of mobile phone users in web browsing for the third quarter of 2010, it is extracted that the Finnish firm governs in our country the preferences of the clients of this market when it comes to to consult the Internet from your phone.
In total, almost three million users accessed the web from a Symbian-equipped mobile. The figure becomes even more relevant when we consider that in total, just over eight million terminals make up the fleet of devices that in Spain enter the Internet through mobile networks. And of those three million Nokia phones that visit the web, one is the one that draws users' attention: the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music, with almost 1.1 million units entering the Internet. They are followed by the Nokia X6, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia N95 and Nokia N81.
On the other hand, the data on the acceptance of Symbian among mobile users that connect to the Internet is not only certified by terminals. Although the Nokia system is significantly below three million devices, it is not until the figure of 788,000 terminals that we do not find the following operating system due to connections to the network of networks.
This is the iOS of Apple, present in this statistic by any of the three versions of the phone that are on the market, occupying access devices also second place (with the iPhone 3G) and fourth (with the iPhone 4) and the fifth position (with the iPhone 3G).
The list by platform continues in the third, fourth and fifth step the BlackBerry OS, MS Pocket PC (Windows Mobile 6.5) and Android systems. It should be remembered that the market penetration of the Google system has been the most pronounced, as it was the last in this ranking to join the study. And is that according to Nielsen figures, its growth would have represented 35 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
