If you are one of those who still think that any past time was better, Samsung has good news for you. And it is that, sooner rather than later, the Korean firm plans to launch its new shell phone, that is, one of those terminals with a cover that was all the rage for almost a decade. And it is not that currently we cannot find mobiles of this type. In fact, they are usually the most suitable for those older people who are not familiar with the current trend of large smartphones. The main difference is that this is a high-end phone with high performance, intended for the most demanding public.
Samsung W2019, Samsung's new shell phone
This new mobile with a shell design is called Samsung W2019 and it is the successor to the previous Samsung W2018. A terminal, in principle, intended for the Asian market, where this type of design continues to find many followers. As we said before, it will be a high-end team. According to all rumors, we can find inside a Snapdragon 845 processor, the same processor that we can see in recent terminals such as the Google Pixel 3 XL or the not yet announced OnePlus 6T.
The Samsung W2019, as we can see in the filtered images, will arrive in stores with a double rear camera, supported by software functions such as automatic scene recognition that we already have in home terminals such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. With this new technology, achieved thanks to Artificial Intelligence, the user will be able to obtain better images, since, automatically, it will adjust the most appropriate image settings according to the scene to be portrayed, be it a landscape, a portrait, or an object up close.
Like previous Samsung W-series models, the Samsung W2019 will have two AMOLED displays with Full HD resolution. And although at first you have the previous version of Android (Oreo) installed, it is expected to update to Android 9 Pie. This phone is expected to follow the launch deadlines of the previous Samsung W2018 that appeared in stores back in December 2017. And as we said before, this phone will only be for sale in the Asian market, since it is in its borders where the Korean brand Find a profitable niche of buyers and stakeholders.
