The next 2013 will be a year for new Sony releases. The arrival of the Sony Xperia V is already confirmed. And in the queue are models like the Sony Xperia Odin and Sony Xperia Yuga, two phones that apparently will have a large screen size. And the latter has reappeared in a performance test and more technical characteristics have been revealed.
Sony Xperia Yuga is a terminal that has been talked about in recent weeks. Photographs have not come to light, for the moment. However, the technical characteristics are, less and less, a secret. And it is that in the performance test NenaMark2 , it has been possible to know which processor will use this new terminal as well as the resolution that its screen will reach.
To begin with, according to the latest rumors released to the Internet, this Sony Xperia Yuga will pretend to be one of the benchmarks for next year, and it will very possibly be presented at the next edition of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona "" about the month of February " ”. And its screen could become of five inches and its resolution would be Full HD as can be seen in the results of the performance tests: 1,794 x 1,080 pixels.
Meanwhile, this Sony Xperia Yuga would become part of the first Sony teams to equip a processor with more than two cores: according to the NenaMark2 test it would use a processor with a working frequency of 1.5 GHz and, according to what they say in The Android Soul portal, the model would be in charge of a Snapdragon S4 Pro with four cores "" the same model that will come inside the new Nexus 4 "".
To all this would be added a supposed RAM of two GigaBytes with which to cope "" and without difficulties "" to all the daily work. On the other hand, the version of Android that it would have installed has also been seen: Android 4.1.1, the same version with which the Sony Xperia V will appear and which, in addition, lowers its price in free format to 530 euros. In the same way, the Android version that is installed "" and that is reflected in the test results "" may not be the final one. It should be remembered that Android 4.2 is already in the air and the first teams will arrive on November 13.
Finally, the great claim of this Sony Xperia Yuga would once again be its photographic section. The bets say that its rear sensor should be between 13 and 16 megapixels of resolution. And signed by the name Exmor R that can be seen both in cameras of the CyberShot family and in Handicam video cameras.
As last notes, this advanced mobile could be accompanied by a large capacity battery: between 2,500 to 2,800 milliamps, so its autonomy would be very similar to what can currently be seen in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Nor does it escape the possibility that it is sold with a large amount of internal space where to save files: 32 GB is the figure that is being considered. However, none of the characteristics have been confirmed "" or denied "" by the Japanese company.
