Last January, Sony presented three new terminals at CES in Las Vegas. Now, the Sony Xperia XA2, the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra and the Sony Xperia L2 officially arrive in Spain. All three models retain Sony's signature boxy design, but come with some cool new features.
The Sony Xperia XA2 and the XA2 Ultra are in the mid-range. These terminals stand out for their camera technology, their classic but elegant design and for a balanced technical set. In addition, they come with Android 8.0 Oreo as standard. The Xperia XA2 reaches the market with a price of 350 euros, while the Xperia XA2 Ultra amounts to 430 euros.
The smallest of the family, the Sony Xperia L2, offers a 5.5-inch HD screen, a large battery and an 8MP front camera with a super wide angle of 120 °. In addition, it includes Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Xperia L2 reaches the Spanish market with a price of 230 euros.
We are going to recall, in a little more detail, the technical characteristics of these terminals.
Sony Xperia XA2
While we wait for Sony to launch a terminal with a more interesting body-screen ratio, the continuity models that they presented at the last CES arrive on the market. Replacing the current Sony Xperia XA we have the Sony Xperia XA2, a terminal with a 5.2-inch screen with Full HD resolution.
Inside we have a Snapdragon 630 processor, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The battery is 3,300 mAh and has Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.
But perhaps the most remarkable thing about the Sony Xperia XA2 is its camera. It features a 23-megapixel main sensor with an 84 ° f / 2.0 wide-angle lens. Also include hybrid autofocus, ISO up to ISO 12800, 4K video recording, and slow motion video recording (120 FPS).
On its front we have an 8 megapixel sensor with f / 2.4 aperture and 120º wide angle.
The Sony Xperia XA2 goes on sale in our country with a price of 350 euros. It is available in four colors: silver, black, blue and pink.
Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra
The Japanese company has also thought about users looking for a bigger screen. The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra equips a 6-inch screen with Full HD resolution.
The processor is maintained, although the RAM memory increases to 4 GB. It also increases the battery, with a capacity of 3,580 mAh.
As for the photographic section, the rear camera is maintained, but we have a surprise in the front. The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra has a double front sensor, one of 16 MP with optical image stabilization and the other of 8 MP with super wide angle of 120 °.
The Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra hits the market with a price of 430 euros. It will be available in four colors: silver, black, blue and gold.
Sony Xperia L2
The most modest of the family is the Sony Xperia L2. It has a 5.5-inch screen with HD resolution.
Inside we find a Mediatek MT6737T processor, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The battery is 3,300 mAh and, this time, it does not have fast charging.
The photographic section is responsible for a rear camera with a 13 megapixel sensor and f / 2.0 aperture. On the front we have an 8 megapixel sensor with a 120º wide angle and f / 2.4 aperture.
The Sony Xperia L2 reaches the Spanish market with a price of 230 euros. It will be available in three colors: black, gold and pink.
