The Ultra versions of the most popular Sony terminals are a good option for users looking for large screens. However, the classic design of the Japanese manufacturer's mobiles makes the total size of the device not suitable for all hands. Now the company has presented the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, a terminal with a 6-inch screen but that sports a renewed design. The frames have been reduced considerably and the screen has an 18: 9 aspect ratio.
In addition, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus becomes Sony's first mid-range with Hi-Res Audio technology. All this accompanied by a 23 megapixel rear camera that allows you to record videos in 4K. Big screen Sony style
Without a doubt, the great protagonist of the design of the new Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is its screen. It equips a 6-inch panel with FHD + resolution and 18: 9 format. It is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass, a material that provides extra protection against drops and bumps.
The terminal sports a nice design with a metallic finish and thin edges. Its aluminum frame has a diamond-cut finish that accentuates the industrial design. And, going back to Sony's origins, the fingerprint sensor is located on the right side of the phone.
It is not a small terminal, although Sony has reduced the frames compared to other models. The dimensions of the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus are 157 x 75 x 9.6 millimeters, with a weight of 205 grams. That is, as usual, we are facing a fairly thick and heavy terminal.
High resolution camera
Another section in which Sony terminals usually stand out is in photography. The Xperia Xa2 Plus has a 23 megapixel rear camera with Sony 1 / 2.3 ”sensor for Exmor RS mobile. This achieves an ISO sensitivity of no less than 12800, thus allowing high quality photos even in low light conditions.
The sensor offers an f / 2.0 aperture and enables 4K resolution video recording. It also incorporates the ability to record videos in super slow motion at 120 fps.
The front camera has an 8 megapixel sensor with a 120º wide angle. It has the Portrait mode and the Bokeh and Beauty applications to be able to adjust the photos in real time and give it a creative touch.
Powerful technical package
Inside the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus we find a Snapdragon 630 processor. This is accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. A capacity that we can expand with a MicroSD card of up to 400 GB.
Its battery is 3,580 milliamps and it has the Qnovo adaptive charge. In addition, thanks to the Qualcomm processor, it also incorporates Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is Sony's first mid-range phone to incorporate Hi-Resolution Audio technology. In addition, it incorporates Sony's Digital Sound Enhancement (DSEE HX) engine. This system automatically uploads and compresses MP3 files to provide near High-Resolution sound quality.
In addition, the terminal includes LDACTM, which improves Bluetooth technology to achieve sound with quality close to High-Resolution.
