About a month ago, Sony put on sale in free format its current flagship: the Sony Xperia S. Its price at that time amounted to 600 euros. However, the manufacturer has decided to lower its price and make it more attractive to all budgets. Its current price is 100 euros cheaper.
Sony Xperia S was the first terminal of the new mobile division of the newly created Sony Mobile and after the separation of Ericsson at the end of last year 2,011. Currently it can be obtained in the different catalogs of offers of the vast majority of national operators. Even so, its price on the free market was - until now - 600 euros. And we say so far, because the manufacturer has applied a discount of 100 euros now costing 500 euros. This is confirmed from the company's own official website from which you can also make purchases.
At the moment, this Sony Xperia S is the only model in the new range that is for sale in free format. Although, in the Movistar catalog, the smallest model of all is already offered: the Sony Xperia U, which can be obtained from zero euros; it all depends on the rate that is contracted.
It should be remembered that there are two more models that should appear shortly on the Spanish market. This is the Sony Xperia Sola and Xperia P Sony. However, the first sword of the manufacturer is this Sony Xperia S which is priced in the market very competitive, in addition to having one of the most attractive designs of the moment.
Sony's smartphone has a generously sized screen: 4.3 inches to be exact. Furthermore, it achieves a maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels; in other words, it can display images in high definition. Meanwhile, in its most technical part is a dual-core processor with a working frequency of 1.5 GHz and will be accompanied by a RAM of one GigaByte.
Although its internal memory does not have much capacity (1.5 GB), you can always use memory cards in MicroSD format of up to 32 GB more. For its part, the camera it includes is one of the most powerful on the market. Its resolution equals that of the Nokia N8: it has a twelve mega-pixel sensor with built-in Flash and the ability to record high-definition videos of up to 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, also known as Full HD. But beware, the camera features don't end there. And it is that you can use the function baptized as Sweet Panorama 3D that will allow you to see three-dimensional images on a compatible television.
Finally, the new Sony smartphones are based on the Google mobile platform. To be more exact, this Sony Xperia S will come with the Gingerbread version pre-installed. Although the manufacturer announced that the new Android 4.0 platform would be available in the second quarter of this year 2012.
