Sony has presented two new mobiles with classic design and very simple technical characteristics. Both the Sony Xperia R1 and the Sony Xperia R1 Plus have been designed, in principle, for emerging markets. Among its features we find a 5.2-inch screen, a Snapdragon 430 processor and a 13-megapixel camera. The Xperia R1 Plus is exactly the same as its little brother, but better in memory. Both models will be available from November 10 with a price, at the change, of 170 euros and 200 euros respectively.
The design of Sony mobiles does not go unnoticed. They may like more or less, but their terminals are easily recognizable. For now, the Japanese company maintains its well-known square designs. And the new Sony Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus are no exception. We are facing two perfect terminals for lovers of the brand.
As we mentioned, they are two fairly simple mobiles. Both models feature a TFT LCD screen 5.2 inch HD resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The screen-to-body ratio is 69.7%. The dimensions of the terminals are 146 x 73.2 x 8.9 millimeters, with a weight of 154 grams.
Inside the Sony Xperia R1 and Sony Xperia R1 Plus we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Accompanying the processor we will have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage in the R1. The Sony Xperia R1 Plus increases up to 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
On the other hand, both terminals include a 2,620 milliamp battery. And in terms of connectivity they include GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology, Wi-Fi and a USB type C.
We do not forget the photographic section. Although Sony terminals usually include very good sensors, it must be remembered that we are dealing with two lower-mid-range terminals. The Sony Xperia Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus have a main camera with Exmor sensor of 13 megapixels. This sensor includes autofocus and LED flash. The camera is capable of recording video in 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
On the front we have an 8 megapixel sensor with a 76 degree wide angle. This camera is accompanied by a phase detection autofocus system.
As we mentioned, both the Sony Xperia R1 and the Sony Xperia R1 Plus will be available from November 10 in black and silver. Its price will be, at the change, 170 euros and 200 euros respectively.
