It has been heard for weeks that Sony is working on new equipment that will see the light of next year 2013. And the Sony Xperia Odin would be one of them along with the Sony Xperia Yuga. Well, apparently another official image has just been leaked in which a design could be seen that is not similar to what the manufacturer has used to its customers in the last year.
Sony Xperia Odin is called to be one of the flagship of the Japanese company. Hence, among the technical characteristics that have been considered so far is a screen with Full HD resolution, a powerful processor and a screen size somewhat higher than what Sony currently offers in its particular portfolio .
To begin with, according to leaks arrivals from Asia, this Sony Xperia Odin could have a five - inch diagonal and get a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Meanwhile, the part of the power would be given by a quad-core processor and would be the work of Qualcomm and its Snapdragon S4 chipset .
Likewise, the RAM that would accompany the powerful processor would reach two GigaBytes and would resemble what can currently be seen in models such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 or the recent Google Nexus 4. For its part, at the rear there would be the main camera that could include a sensor of between 13 or 16 Megapixels of resolution; on the front, and as can be seen in the filtered image, there will also be a camera to make video calls.
As for the operating system that this model will have, sources speak of Android Jelly Bean. Similarly, it could be Android 4.1 as of Android 4.2 that appeared a few days ago with the new range of equipment giant Internet and among some of its most exciting developments the possibility of photo sphere was thanks to the Photo Sphere function, the same technology used for the Google Street View service.
For the rest, it would be before a team that is far from what has been seen so far by the Japanese brand: it would combine the colors black and silver, in addition to not having a single physical button in its design.
To this smartphone would be added another terminal that is currently known under the name of Sony Xperia Yuga. It would also be a high-performance terminal and would be in the Premium range. From what is known about this model, a quad-core processor would be present, although the screen would not reach the levels of this Sony Xperia Odin and would remain at a size of 4.55 inches diagonally.
At the moment, Sony has not confirmed either team. Furthermore, it must also be borne in mind that many of Sony's smartphones are exclusively for Asian markets, with other models reaching markets later, such as Spain.
