Sony made a multiple presentation last Mobile World Congress. He showed us the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, the Sony Xperia XZs, the Xperia XA1 and the XA1. Now, the Japanese brand is responsible for presenting the fifth mobile so far this year, already outside the environment of the fair. It is the Sony Xperia L1, a mid-range that seeks to make a niche among affordable phones.
Design and display
The Sony Xperia L1 has been presented with a 5.5-inch LCD screen and an HD resolution (720 x 1,280 pixels). From an aesthetic point of view, Sony shows us a terminal with a finish very similar to the rest of the mobiles presented at the MWC. The edges are rounded, although it is also an angular device, with many lower and upper frames.
Of course, for this phone, plastic has been used instead of aluminum for edges and the back. Without a fingerprint reader, it will be offered in three colors, white, black and pink.
The Sony Xperia L1 will come in three colors.
performance
The chip of this Sony Xperia L1 is a Mediatek MT6737T with four cores and a power of 1.4 GHz. The RAM is 2 GB and the graphics is a Mali-T720 MP2. It is a correct team, with clear limitations, but very much in line with a mid-range terminal.
As for storage, 16 GB expandable via microSD up to 256 GB. Finally, a hopeful aspect: Android 7 as an operating system. This will ensure a long phone life, and access to the latest features.

Camera
The rear camera is 13 megapixels, with an f / 2.2 aperture. In front, the Sony Xperia L1 offers a camera with a 5 megapixel sensor and also an aperture of f / 2.2. It is a photographic equipment that could be improved, especially at a time when front cameras are gaining more importance in terminals. Maybe that's why 5 megapixels fall short.

Autonomy and connectivity
The battery that includes the Sony Xperia L1 will have a capacity of 2,620 milliamps. It will not have a fast charge, but it will come equipped with the Stamina mode. For those who do not know, it is a specific mode of some Sony terminals created to optimize battery life to the maximum.
As for connectivity, we will find 4G connection , Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a USB type C port. As we have already told you before, no fingerprint reader. Nor will we find resistance to water.
Availability and price
We can get hold of the Sony Xperia L1 from April, although the brand has not specified exactly the day. We also know that it will be, in Sony's words, an "affordable" terminal, but they have not gotten wet with the exact amount either. It is also good news, since a terminal with these characteristics and a reasonably moderate price could have a lot of output.
