Sony has commented on which terminals will receive the update to one of the latest Google operating system platforms: Android. The first smartphones to have the improvements will be the manufacturer's high-end. In addition, the approximate dates on which the improvements are planned to be launched have been provided. And these will arrive throughout the next year 2.013.
Japan's Sony "" together with Samsung "" is another company that is also betting heavily on updating its terminals. And its current flagship will be the first to receive its fixes of Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean . What terminal are we talking about? From the Sony Xperia T, a terminal that is at the top of the manufacturer's catalog and has been awarded as the Multimedia Mobile of the Year in the tuexperto.com Awards 2012. The update, according to Sony comments through its official page, will arrive between the months of February and March; that is: the last week of February or the first of March.
Continuing with the roadmap that the company has made, the next terminals to update to this version of Google's mobile platform would be the Sony Xperia P, Sony Xperia J and Sony Xperia go. These three smartphones of the mid-range of the portfolio would have the improvements at the end of March. Of course, without an exact date.
Meanwhile, the Sony Xperia S, the mobile that was shown at the past Mobile World Congress as the most advanced terminal of the company, would be the next to receive Android 4.1. In this case, a release month is not indicated; It is only said that it would arrive in the following weeks after the second round of releases. Therefore, at the earliest, it would be in April.
Sony commented a few days ago that in the middle of this same month of December information would be given on the plans that the company had regarding the updates of its terminals. This was caused after the question on Twitter from a user of one of its teams: the Sony Xperia S. After unveiling the roadmap that will follow in the coming months, Sony has also commented that once between the new year, it will be informed of what improvements will be achieved with this update.
Likewise, one of the last terminals that was presented in society was the Sony Xperia E, an advanced mobile that will hit the markets in two versions: with a single SIM slot and a version with dual SIM. In both cases, it will be accessible in the first quarter of next year. And there were already some clues about the possible update to Android 4.1 of the range: this terminal would appear in European markets with Jelly Bean inside.
In addition, one of its most interesting characteristics would be that after putting the smartphone to rest, the applications would be deactivated, so the battery consumption would be minimal and the autonomy, on a day-to-day basis, would be greater. At the moment, there is no price to go to the market, but it is expected to be one of the most affordable advanced mobiles of the moment.
