Sony will allow you to uninstall the applications that come from the factory in the xperia
The Japanese company Sony is being in recent days a source of many joys for the owners of a mobile from the Xperia range, regardless of how old it is. After knowing that Sony will no longer force users to update their applications, this time we have learned that Sony's Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will bring with it the option to uninstall applications installed as standard. Gmail, Google+, Drive, Google Play Music or Voice Search are an example of the applications that, after the update of Android 6.0, users will no longer be forced to keep it on their Xperia.
There are already users testing the Android 6.0 update on their Xperia Z3, and it was precisely the arrival of a new test version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Sony ( MDB08M.Z1.2178 ) that has revealed this novelty. As users who have installed this version on their Sony Xperia Z3 / Z3 Compact have seen, Sony will allow Android 6.0 to eliminate a large part of the Google applications that are installed as standard in the Xperia. So far (even on Android 5.1.1), these apps cannot be removed manually.
But, as we read in XperiaBlog.net, that's not the only news that Android 6.0 will bring the Xperia from Sony. In this same update, Sony has also introduced a novelty in the interface that allows changing the design of the application icons. From the configuration section of the home screen, users will have the possibility to choose between three different styles of icons: with borders, contained in a translucent square or with a circular design. This change is applied to the icons of all the applications installed on our mobile and, of course, users will also have the possibility to leave the design of the icons as it comes as standard.
Likewise, Sony has used this new version to slightly renew the design of the icons of five applications: album, Camera, E-Mail, Music and Settings. For the rest, it does not seem that the interface will undergo major changes before the official distribution of Android 6.0 Marshmallow in Sony, so that the only novelties in the customization layer will reside in these small design touches.
Now, and when will the Android 6.0 update begin to become a reality among Sony phones ? When it comes to referring to these new features, we are always talking about the trial version that some lucky users have had the opportunity to access; For the rest of the users, Sony's Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will begin to come true from next year 2016.
