In recent days we are witnessing a large parade of candidates to continue the legacy of the Google Nexus family. Among them, the one with the greatest signs of certainty seems to be a model from LG, a South Korean company that does not have all of them with it in the field of smartphones, but that would like to approach the catalog of preferred Android manufacturers with a reference edition of next Nexus. It is not the only firm that is postulated in this regard. Samsung or HTC have also done it, as well as the Japanese Sony.
It is the latter case that interests us the most. And it is that as we know by Xperia Blog, the proposal that Sony would want to market their native ecosystem team to Android would be the Sony Nexus X. The images come from a Picasa album that shows a mobile with a touch screen, exposed in front and rear view. Said team is baptized, at least within said album, as precisely Sony Nexus X. Given this, and judging by what is shown, the clues leave little room for doubt.
On the one hand, the fact that in the back of the terminal's display logo of Google to the way it does in the Nexus phones "" ie simply with the logo without the added With ahead of the corporate image "" It invites us to think in the direction that this prototype is, indeed, the next preferred mobile phone of Mountain View, or perhaps one of them, in case the strategy this year involves launching several simultaneous models from a handful of manufacturers. Furthermore, on the other hand, there are also more signs pointing in this same direction.
This is taken from the main interface displayed on the screen. And it is that as long as we think that the supposed Sony Nexus X has not been properly tuned, what is observed is the native layer of Android, and not so much a customization of those that the Japanese firm itself applies to its terminals. This is a characteristic of native Google mobiles, and the fact that it can be seen in this team invites us to think that we would really be facing one of the Nexus.
Unfortunately, there are no significant benefits accompanying this leak. Only a classic bar-type format and a slightly convex rear cover can be seen, not as arched as in the latest devices presented by the firm for its Xperia range. It would not lack a combo of cameras on the front and rear of the equipment, as well as a microUSB port on the left side. Beyond that, little can be deduced.
As we have already mentioned, the South Korean Samsung, responsible for the last two editions of the Nexus phones, would also have a model at the doors for this range. It would be, it seems, a slightly improved team compared to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which would integrate some features taken from the Samsung Galaxy S3.
