The obsession with selfies (that is, self-profile photos) seems to have no limits, and the big mobile phone manufacturers are keen to make the most of this market. The Japanese company Sony and gave us some clues about his intentions to present the Sony Xperia C3, a smart phone that incorporates a front camera of five megapixel accompanied by an LED flash. On this occasion, Sony has starred in a new filtration consisting of several photographs in which what appears to be a smartphone with an adjustable front camera can be seen.
According to information that has leaked along with photographs, the only camera of this terminal would incorporate a sensor Exmor RS of 19.2 megapixels (with LED flash) and would be accompanied by technologies like the optical image stabilizer (OIS). This camera could be rotated to serve as a front camera for selfies (at the same time we visualize the scene through the screen), as well as it could be used as the main camera simply by rotating it to its natural position.
On the other hand, if we look in detail at these filtered photographs, we will also see that the design of the terminal that appears in them has many similarities with the design of a compact camera. That is precisely another of the theories that are being considered at the moment in relation to the photographs that have been leaked this time, since the aspect of the terminal that stars them has little or nothing to do with the design of the mobile phones in the range Xperia from this manufacturer.
Of course, even though this terminal probably corresponds to a new Sony camera, it would not be the first time that a manufacturer has launched a smartphone with a steerable camera on the market. A good example of this is in the Oppo N1, a smartphone released in late year 2013 incorporating a camera 13 megapixel camera that can be used both as a front camera and a main camera mode. In fact, the camera can be rotated up to 260 degrees, which allows the mobile with a single camera to be able to offer both frontal photographs and conventional snapshots.
To clear up any doubts regarding the technical specifications of this new terminal, we must wait until August 22, the date on which Sony is expected to hold an event in China to officially publicize this new device. Also remember that at the beginning of the month of September (specifically between 5 and 10 September) will attend another presentation of Sony: the smartphone Sony Xperia Z3 in the technology event IFA 2014 to be held in the city of Berlin (Germany). Even if the rumors are correct, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, the compact version of Sony's next flagship, could also be seen during this same event.
