The Swedish-Japanese company Sony Ericsson has marked this 2011 as the year in which it has to start to stand out from its competitors. To this end, it has declared a faithful and lasting association with Google and its operating system, Android, which will be present in two of the star terminals this year: the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Play and the one at hand, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc.
This mobile with a slight curved design will be released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the latest version of the platform that now has only been seen on the Google Nexus S. However, until now the question was when we could see the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc on the market. That unknown could have been cleared thanks to the Internet sales portal , Play.com, where it is stated that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc would begin to be distributed, initially in the United Kingdom, from April 1.
In addition to putting a sale date, the Play.com site also lists a price for the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc. As we have seen, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc would be worth 460 pounds in pre-reservation (about 540 euros, at the current exchange rate). This cost corresponds to the value of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc without having to benefit from help from operators who can sell it, so we would take it home completely free and to use it with the company that we like the most (or less displease us).
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc is a mobile that stands out, firstly, for having a large format screen, which is counted in 4.2 inches (a little less than the HTC Desire HD), as well as a panel equipped with technology Bravia (same as Sony's latest generation TVs). Aesthetically it is a very spoiled terminal, with a very attractive design and a thickness that puts the proud measurements of the iPhone 4 in trouble. It also has a one GHz processor, all kinds of connections and an eight megapixel camera that records video in high definition.
