The Japanese company Sony seems to be interested in launching a successor to the Sony Xperia C3, the smartphone with a front camera accompanied by an LED Flash that was presented in the middle of last year 2014. This has been revealed by a leak that has revealed both the appearance and some of the characteristics of the Sony Cosmos, which apparently will become a new Sony mobile focused on self-profile photographs.
Starting first with its technical specifications, from the American website xperiablog they point out that the Sony Cosmos will respond to the numbering of E5306 . Inside, the Sony Cosmos will incorporate an eight-core MediaTek processor (model MT6752), and the operating system that will give life to its interface will correspond to Android, specifically one of the most recent versions of Lollipop (Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, probably). The leak does not refer to any other feature, although seeing this information we can intuit that we are talking about a mid- range smartphone.
Regarding the leaked images of the Sony Cosmos, the photograph that shows the front of this smartphone reveals a mobile that looks very similar to the Sony Xperia C3. The most notable difference between the Sony Cosmos and the Xperia C3 resides in the lower frame of the screen, which seems to have seen its thickness reduced significantly. The front camera with LED Flash remains practically in the same place, and the physical buttons (power and volume) also seem to remain located on the right side of the mobile.
Sony has not commented on these images, and at the moment the date on which this new Sony Cosmos could be officially presented is unknown. The most likely date for mobile again this may lie in the IFA 2015, the technological event held during the month of September in the city of Berlin (Germany). In any case, it is also not confirmed that this smartphone will reach the European market, although the photograph of the interface translated into English does not seem to indicate otherwise.
