In China there is a wide variety of mobile manufacturers. Many of them do not reach Spain, but the truth is that they have very striking terminals. An example is the Smartisan Nut R1, a terminal with no less than 1 TB of storage and up to 8 GB of RAM. It also has a 6.17-inch screen with a small notch and a dual camera system with two Sony sensors. Inside we have a powerful Snapdragon processor and a 3,600 milliamp battery. Its price is 5,000 yuan, about 650 euros.
The Smartisan Nut R1 is the top of the line from Smartisan Enterprise, a Beijing-based technology company. And honestly, it has little to envy the high-end terminals of well-known brands. It shows off a beautiful and striking design with a glass back. At the front we have practically only a screen, with a very small notch in the center. The terminal originally came out in black with red trim, but is now also available in white.
Powerful technical package
Inside the Smartisan Nut R1 we have a powerful Snapdragon 845 processor manufactured by Qualcomm. Accompanying the processor we have 6 or 8 GB of RAM, depending on the model. As for storage, the initial capacity is 64 GB. However, the manufacturer has decided to launch several models, with a 128 GB variant and another with 512 GB of UFS 2.1 memory. There is even a model that has 1 TB of internal storage, something never seen in a terminal.
As for the screen, it has a 6.17-inch panel with a resolution of 2,242 x 1,080 pixels. It has an 18.7: 9 format, a contrast of 1,500: 1 and a pressure sensor in the purest iPhone style. At the top we have a small notch, while at the bottom the frame is somewhat thicker. With all this, the body-screen ratio remains at 84%.
In the back we have a double camera. Specifically we have a 12 megapixel Sony IMX363 sensor and a second 20 megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor. The first offers an aperture f / 1.8 and has 1.43 µm pixels, while the second has an aperture f / 1.75.
The front camera is not bad either. It has a 24 megapixel sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, 1.8 µm pixels and an AI beauty system.
Price and availability
In short, it is a mobile with top-of-the-range features. The technical set is completed by a 3,600 milliamp battery with wireless charging and fast charging.
The Smartisan Nut R1 is already on sale in China with a price that starts at 600 euros at the exchange. The model with 8 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is priced at about 1,400 euros.
