Summer is just around the corner and the operators launch their respective promotions to give away gigs and free minutes. The first to do so is Simyo, the brand owned by Orange who just a few minutes ago announced that it will give away nothing more and nothing less than 20 GB to all its prepaid and contract customers. The promotion in question begins today, and can be activated through the operator's own application or through the web portal through the Customer Area.
20 GB for 30 days, this is the new Simyo promotion
This has just been made official by the company through the official blog. Specifically, Simyo announces that the 20 GB will be available from today to all those prepaid and contract customers who have contracted their rate through the Create your rate with a normal data voucher mode. All buttons for Complete your rate (night, weekend, chat…) are excluded.
As for the duration of the bonus, it has a maximum period of 30 days. After those 30 days have elapsed, the bonus will be completely deactivated, which is why we will not be able to accumulate it in our base rate in any way. In the event that we use up the gigs before the end period, the rate will begin to reduce the gigs that we have accumulated from previous billings. Later, the gigabytes of the base rate will run out.
Regarding the end of the 20 GB free bonus, Simyo announces that it will be on September 8 when the promotion comes to an end. All bonuses after that date will not be valid. The good news is that their use is compatible with European roaming, so we can make use of them in any member country of the European Union, in addition to Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.
Finally, it should be added that only one free bonus per line can be activated in each of the Simyo lines that we have contracted.
