Does Google Play give you problems when updating or downloading apps? It usually presents a whole collection of errors, among them, the famous messages "Error: Google Play services still not working", or "Google Play services have stopped."
If this has happened to you on your mobile, don't worry, there is a solution. Although it may depend on many factors that Google Play does not work on your mobile, most of the errors can be solved with the solution mentioned below. It is simple and will not affect your mobile settings.
Clear cache and data from Google Play
This step should be enough to fix the issues as it resets the Google Play services settings. If you do it in the correct way, it should not present any type of conflict with the rest of the mobile configuration. And of course, it will not delete your account data or installed apps.
To clear cache and data, just follow these steps:
- Go to Settings on your mobile device and scroll to Applications
- Search the list of installed apps to Google Play Store
- Choose "Force stop" (or "Force close")
- Now select "Storage" for "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data"
This configuration may depend on the model of your mobile device, but you will have no problem finding it. For example, if you have a Samsung mobile you will see these last two options just by opening "Storage", and in the case of Xiaomi, you will have to select "Clear data".
Once you finish this process in the Google Play app, perform the same steps with Google Play Services, but directly select "Delete all data". Now that you have deleted all data from Google Play and Google Play Services, restart your mobile to ensure that the changes are implemented without problems. If you have done the process well, and if there is no other problem on the mobile that causes conflict with Google Play, you will no longer have problems downloading or updating apps.
And of course, don't forget to take into account other aspects that could prevent the Google Play Services from working properly, such as using a VPN, little storage space or an outdated version of the app.
