Android 9 Pie for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Note 9 is getting closer every day. About a month ago the first version of Android 9.0 was leaked for the Galaxy S9. However, its state was not very advanced and some of the most basic functions of a mobile did not work correctly. On this occasion, and thanks to an anonymous user who claims to have one of the latest betas for the Galaxy S9 + of Android Pie, now we can know what the final design and characteristics of the latest version of Android for Samsung mobiles will be like.
Android 9 Pie for the Samsung Galaxy S, Note, A and J: this will be the Samsung Experience 10
For some time now, Samsung is working on a good part of its smartphone updates much earlier than before. As if this were not enough, most of its phones belonging to the Galaxy A and Galaxy J ranges are receiving the latest versions of Android based on Samsung Experience 9. Its renewal is just around the corner, at least this is confirmed by several Samsung Experience 10 screenshots from Android Police via an anonymous user.
Interface similar to Android 9 Pie
The first change we observe in the leaked screenshots of Android 9 Pie is the change in the design of a large part of the interface. Now the lines are much more similar to Android Stock. An example of this is the notification bar, the quick settings and the multitasking screen.
Also the Settings application has been renewed to look a little more like the native Android.
Dark mode
Finally comes the native dark mode to Samsung phones. For those who have a device with an AMOLED screen, the new version of Android 9 for Samsung now has a dark mode that can be activated from the settings, although it does not seem that the company has finished implementing it.
Be that as it may, it is to be hoped that the company will let it be activated freely in the final versions of Samsung Experience 10.
Custom gestures
The latest novelty that can be seen in the update of Samsung mobiles is the integration of gestures in the purest Android 9 style. With this new version we can hide the navigation buttons and make use of touch gestures to go back, open multitasking and go to system startup.
It remains to see its operation in terminals such as the Galaxy S9 or Note 9.
