We are getting closer to meeting the next high-end mobile from LG. The LG V30 could be announced in September, as it happened with its predecessor, the LG V20. In the last hours the company has spoken and confirmed some details of this next device. I mean, this time we're not relying on hearsay. It was LG itself who has come forward confirming that the V30 will have an OLED Full Vision or P-OLED Full Vision Display.
It will therefore be the first large mobile phone with an OLED screen from the South Korean since the launch of the LG Flex 2 in 2015. On this occasion, in addition, there would be almost no bezels, leaving a really reduced frame and maximum prominence to the panel. Also, the corners of the screen could have a slight curvature to offer a more ergonomic design, something that will be appreciated when it comes to holding it in your hand.
A screen adapted to the new times
LG has been doing a good job with the screen of its next LG V30, adapting it to the new times. And, according to the company, this OLED panel is going to help boost mobile virtual reality, which will allow you to see moving images at a higher quality, making them more real. LG has also confirmed the size of this new screen. It will be 6 inches with an 18: 9 aspect ratio. For its part, the lower bezels would have been reduced by 20% and 50%, respectively, compared to the V20. The LG logo would even have been moved to the back because of this.
So, in short, the LG V30 will come with a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. It will offer P-OLED technology with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, curved edges, tiny bezels and Corning's Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This new model could also have a double main camera, a fingerprint reader (on the back) and a floating bar instead of another second screen like that of the LG V10 and V20. According to rumors, this new floating bar would be like a kind of quick access to applications and notifications. It is very possible that the LG V30 will be announced next September during the IFA in Berlin. We will be attentive to new information.
