Honor, Huawei's sub-brand, could be about to renew its Honor 4A model, announced in July last year. Apparently, the small certifier TENAA would have registered the Honor 5A and 5A Plus, which would have allowed us to know some of their main details. As you can guess, the Honor 5A Plus would be the phablet version of the device. Expected with a 5.5-inch screen, while the standard version could have a 5-inch. Both would differ from each other by other important characteristics, such as type of processor or battery capacity. Here we tell you all the details we know about the two teams.
Honor 5A
The replacement for the Honor 4A could once again have a design similar to that of its predecessor: a polycarnonate chassis with a metallic side stripe for a more elegant look. According to the leaked information, the device would have the following dimensions: 143.8 x 72 x 8.9 mm, as well as a weight of 138 grams. We would be, therefore, before a team within the current normal parameters. The screen of this model would have a size of 5 inches and an HD resolution. Inside this device there would be room for a quad-core processor running at a speed of 1.3 GHz. This chip would arrive accompanied by a 2 GB RAM, a figure that will allow us to move most of the applications available on Google Play. For its part, with regard to internal storage capacity, the Honor 5A would have 16 GB, expandable through the use of MicroSD- type cards of up to 128 GB. As for the rest of the features, this terminal would have a 13 megapixel main camera with LED flash and autofocus and a 2,200 mAh battery. The chosen operating system would be Android 5.1 Lollipop and not Android 6.0,the latest version of Google's mobile platform.
Honor 5A Plus
The vitaminized version of the Honor 5A would directly become part of the phablet sector, large phones halfway between a smartphone and a tablet. Specifically, it would have a 5.5-inch screen also with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). In your case, it would have dimensions of 154.3 x 77.1 x 8.45 mm, along with a weight of 168 grams. That is, it would be less thick than its younger brother, but somewhat heavier. Under the hood of this phone we would find an eight-core processor working at a clock speed of 1.8 GH. The RAM in your case would continue to be 2 GB and we would also find a storage capacity of 16 GB, expandable using MicroSD type cards. Regarding the rest of the characteristics, the Honor 5A Plus would equip a set of 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel cameras (for the rear and front) and a 3,000 mAh battery, somewhat larger than that of its range brother given its benefits. The two devices are scheduled to be officially unveiled in the coming days.
