The fact that the Japanese company Sony is working on the production of the Sony Xperia Z3 and Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is no longer a secret. The different leaks that have appeared in recent days have confirmed that very soon the Sony Xperia Z2 and the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact will receive their new successors in the market. And in the meantime, the leaked images keep coming to the net; on this occasion the protagonist has once again been the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, which has appeared in some leaked photographs in which its design is shown in detail.
These new photographs show in a somewhat more detailed way the appearance that both the back and the sides of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will have. In the images on the sides of this mobile you can see a microUSB port, a slot for microSD memory cards and a slot for microSIM cards.
A detail that seems to have been completely clarified with this leak is that, although in these images the sides of the mobile seem to be made of plastic, the final version of the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will incorporate metallic aluminum sides as Sony has us accustomed with designs of your high-end smartphones. The reason why plastic sides appear in these photographs is due to the fact that the terminal that appears in them is only a prototype, so the final version will retain this same design with the difference that the materials will be of higher quality in comparison to which is deduced from these images.
As for its technical specifications, rumors indicate that the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be presented with a screen of 4.6 inches to reach a resolution of 1,080 pixels. The processor chosen for this mobile will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 of four cores that operate at a clock speed of 2.3 GHz with a memory RAM of 3 gigabytes. The main camera sensor will come with a 20.7 megapixel camera accompanied by LED flash. The operating system will correspond to Android, and the version chosen for this mobile will probably beAndroid 4.4.2 KitKat. And from what can be seen in the slots of the terminal that appears in the leaked photographs, the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be resistant to both water and dust (most likely it will have the IP67 certification, present today in mobile phones such as own Sony Xperia Z2).
All this information belongs solely to rumors, so we have to wait until next technological event IFA 2014 in Berlin for official technical specifications of both the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact as the Sony Xperia Z3. The Sony event will take place on September 3, and it is expected that during that date the Japanese company will officially present both smartphones to the general public.
