Just a few days after the first extra-official photograph of the Samsung Galaxy F appeared, this time a new leak has revealed the definitive appearance of what will most likely be the “premium” version of the Samsung Galaxy S5. Although at the moment there is no official confirmation in relation to the existence of this terminal, everything seems to indicate that the South Korean company Samsung will present this new mobile in the coming months.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy F incorporates a screen of 5.3 inches to reach a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The most striking novelty at first glance of this new smartphone would be its design, since we would be talking about a mobile that will incorporate a metal casing that would seek to differentiate itself from the traditional plastic casings that Samsung is accustomed to.
Inside the Samsung Galaxy F there will probably be a quad- core processor called Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 that will operate at a clock speed that has not yet been disclosed. Along with this processor there will also be a RAM with a capacity of 3 GigaBytes, while the internal storage space seems to be 32 GigaBytes (although there are also rumors that this capacity will be 16 GigaBytes, which would continue to be interesting as long as we had a microSD slot for external memory cards at our disposal).
These improvements aside, it is also worth noting that the Samsung Galaxy F will share some similarities with the original version of this smartphone (the Samsung Galaxy S5). One of those similarities will be the IP67 certificate, which gives this mobile resistance both against water and dust. Another of the similarities will reside in the operating system, since everything seems to indicate that we will find Android in its most recent version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat (or perhaps even Android 4.4.3 KitKat, although that assumption is somewhat risky to these heights).
At the moment there is no data that reveals the presentation date in which all the technical specifications of this new Samsung Galaxy F will be officially communicated. Regarding the starting price, we must not forget that in its day the Samsung Galaxy S5 was presented with an official price that was around 700 euros. If at that price we add the metallic design of the Samsung Galaxy F housing, it is most likely that the price of this new mobile will be around an even higher figure. We will have to wait a few more weeks for leaks to begin to appear that give us some clue about the starting price of this new smartphone from the South Korean manufacturerSamsung.
