Around two months is what remains for the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10 Lite to be presented to the world at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Little or nothing remains to be seen of the three new flagships of the South Korean company. Aspects such as the design, the price or the internal hardware has already been filtered before by the different sources close to Samsung. This time it is the size of their screens, the proportion and the resolution that is filtered in a well-known benchmark website. Specifically, the affected models are the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy S10 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and S10 Plus: from Full HD to 2K
Historically, Samsung mobile screens have always been the best on the market. Currently the screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is proclaimed as the best panel ever built, with a 19: 9 ratio, AMOLED technology and QHD + resolution. Panels similar to this are the ones that the new Galaxy S10 will implement. This is confirmed by a recent leak on the HTML5Test page, known for analyzing the performance of devices in terms of web browsing.

The website in question reflects that the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy S10 Plus (SM-G970F and SM-975F) will have two panels with Full HD + and QHD + resolution, which in practice translates as 1080 x 2280 pixels and 1440 x 3040. Regarding the ratio of both panels, both will come with an aspect of 19: 9, the same as that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And the size? Unfortunately, it has not been released in the aforementioned test, but all rumors suggest that it will have 5.8 and 6.4 inches. The middle model, the Samsung Galaxy S10, is known to feature a 6.1-inch screen similar in size to the Galaxy S10 Plus.

But beyond the size or resolution of the panels, what is most striking about the HTML5Test test is that the Lite model obtains, by just 15 points, a higher score than the Plus model. This makes us think that the most content terminal in the range will have a higher performance than its older brothers, mainly due to the reduction in the resolution of its panel, since the hardware is presumably the same.
It is also expected to have greater autonomy, as with the recently introduced iPhone XR. They will have to be tested by hand after their presentation to see if this is finally the case, although everything indicates that it is.
