Even ASUS, a manufacturer with a full range of gaming computers, launched its gaming mobile, the ASUS ROG Phone. A device with a very powerful technical set and a special design to obtain greater cooling. Now ASUS seems to have the successor of this mobile ready. New processor and bigger screen
The ASUS ROG Phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, so the processor change was expected. According to the information published in TENAA, the ASUS ROG Phone II will include the new Snapdragon 855+, being one of the first terminals to equip the latest Qualcomm SoC.
This will be accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM, depending on the version. Also a storage capacity that will start from 128 GB, but that can be 512 GB and even 1 TB.
In terms of its design, it seems very similar to the current model. The rear is practically identical, and the front maintains the frames seen on the ROG Phone. However, what is missing is the fingerprint reader on the rear. This could mean that in the ASUS ROG Phone II we will have it under the screen.
And precisely the screen is one of the most important characteristics of a mobile designed for gamers. According to the leaked information, the ASUS ROG Phone II will have a 6.59-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. In other words, it grows substantially compared to its predecessor.
In addition, it would go from a refresh rate of 90 Hz to nothing less than 120 Hz. If this data is confirmed, it would become one of the fastest mobile screens on the market.
The technical set is completed by a photographic system with a double sensor on the rear and a large battery. Not much is known about the first yet, only that it will have a 48 megapixel sensor and that the front camera will be 24 megapixels. And in terms of autonomy, it seems that the ASUS ROG Phone II will be equipped with a 5,800 milliamp battery with fast charging at 30W.
At the moment the price and availability of the ASUS ROG Phone II has not been disclosed. However, everything seems to indicate that we will not have to wait long to know it officially. According to rumors, the new ASUS gaming mobile will be presented next week.
