We are already going to have to get out of our heads that the Xiaomi sub-brand, now an independent brand, Redmi, was only going to belong to the entry range in the world of smartphones. While it is true that until now, under the Redmi umbrella, we found mobiles whose price ranges between less than 100 euros of the Redmi 6A and 250 euros of the 180 GB version of internal storage of the Redmi Note 7, this will soon suffer a turning point before the arrival of the Redmi Pro 2. And the specifications of this new Redmi phone are anything but medium or low range.
Redmi Pro 2, screen without notch and triple main camera
Thanks to a Chinese filter, we can see first-hand the main features of this new Redmi Pro 2, inside which we can have nothing less than the most powerful processor on the market so far, the Snapdragon 855, a beast built in 7 nanometers and eight cores that will reach a maximum clock speed of 2.8 Ghz. This processor will achieve greater energy efficiency, saving battery and optimizing the use of the terminal for a better user experience.
The screen design is surprising because we do not see any notch to house the front camera. This will be inserted inside the terminal, activating when the front camera is opened, in the manner of a telescopic antenna. The front camera will be made up of a 20 megapixel selfie lens. Of course, as was the case with the Redmi Note 7, we will have a somewhat prominent lower frame, something predictable taking into account the foreseeable price range at which it will appear in stores.
Continuing with the screen, it would have a size of 6.39 inches, Full HD + resolution and to protect it it will have a Gorilla Glass 5 layer, in addition to housing a fingerprint sensor directly on the screen. In the back we will have the triple camera configuration whose main sensor will have 48 megapixels, the battery will have 3,600 mAh and it will have a fast charge of 27 Watts. The terminal will be announced soon and will be available in red, blue and black colors.
