The Asus ZenFone 3 is a mid / high-end terminal where design is its main feature. The specifications of this terminal are the standard in a mid-range Smartphone, but it seems that this year, Asus is going to put the batteries with its next flagship device. The specifications of one of the devices in the next ZenFone range have been leaked after passing through GFXBench. Everything points to the Asus ZenFone 4 and the truth is, they are very surprising.

Regarding performance, the Asus ZenFone 4 will incorporate a Qualcomm processor, specifically the Snapdragon 820 model, which will work with four cores, two at 2.1 GHz and another two at 1.6 GHz. The processor would be accompanied with nothing more and nothing less than 6GB of memory RAM, in addition to 64GB storage, although there could be more versions, in addition to the possibility of expanding it through microSD. The GPU would be the Adreno 530. Fortunately, we also have information about the screen, in this case it would have a 5.7-inch panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.(2K resolution). As for the cameras, the Asus ZenFone 4 would have a 21 megapixel rear , and it would support video recording at 4K (3840 x 2160). The front camera would be 8 megapixels, with the possibility of recording in Full HD resolution. Finally, it would incorporate Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, possibly with Asus' own customization layer.
We should mention that there is already an Asus device called ZenFone 4 (with the 4 referring to the screen size), but there is no doubt that the leaked specifications belong to a future device. Looking at the specifications, we might think that it is the highest version of the future ZenFone 4 range (the Deluxe version), but looking back, we know that the ZenFone 3 Deluxe already has almost similar specifications. Also, the Snapdragon 820 is not the newest processor that the American firm has. So everything points to possibly seeing a ZenFone 4 Deluxe with the Snapdragon 835, and the 820 staying for the conventional ZenFone 4.
But according to the latest rumors , the Asus ZenFone 4 would come with a 5.2-inch screen, in addition to a 4850 mAh battery. Although rumors, rumors are. We would not be surprised to see several versions of the conventional ZenFone 4 with different screen sizes, different RAM, battery capacity, or even a different processor. Finally, rumors say a presentation of this new range during the month of May 2017. It is still too early to confirm all this information, as it is also too early to see possible images, or the price, which we hope will not increase much.
