Motorola would be working on the Motorola P40, a device that could hit the market under the name Motorola One Vision. This is what happened to its predecessor, the Motorola P30, which was launched in China with this name, but later landed internationally as Motorola One. In the last few hours some of the characteristics of this new model have been leaked, which could be released in the coming months.
According to rumors, the new Motorola P40 would be powered by a Samsung processor, specifically by the Exynos 9610. This SoC would be accompanied by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and would offer a storage capacity of 32, 64 or 128 GB. At the design level, the device could undergo a radical change with respect to its predecessor. Instead of having a notch or notch, it would include a hole in the screen to house the front camera and thus give more prominence to the front. Therefore, we expect an all-screen phone, with almost no frames on both sides. This would have a size of 6.2 inches and a Full HD + resolution.
The photographic section of the Motorola P40 would not be bad either. This equipment would have a 48 megapixel sensor, which would only work with combined pixels. Or what is the same, creating 12 megapixel images. Since the heart of this model would be dominated by the influence of Samsung, it would be logical to think that the sensor was an ISOCELL GM1 from the company. Likewise, the P40 would also equip a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging, so we could enjoy autonomy for a whole day without charging problems.
As for the rest of the features, the new Motorola phone would land governed by Android One Pie, a lighter version of the system, without added customization layers to make it faster. The exact date on which the P40 would debut is unknown. Its predecessor was unveiled in August last year, so we may not get out of doubt until the summer. Of course, rumors indicate that it would be available in blue and gold, and that it would expand throughout the international market to be sold, not only in China, but also in Latin America, India or Brazil.
