After recently presenting the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, the company would be preparing to continue expanding its mid-range with the new Honor 5C. The device would have passed a few hours ago by the Chinese certification body TENAA, revealing part of its main characteristics and design. It would be a phone with moderate benefits, but capable of rivaling in the current market. The Huawei Honor 5C would mount a 5.2-inch Full HD screen and would also include a Kirin 650 processor, 13-megapixel main camera or 2,900 mAh battery. We tell you all the details we know.
From what has been revealed after passing through TENAA, the Honor 5C would once again have a design very similar to that of its predecessor, the Honor 4C, announced almost a year ago. Its housing would once again be made of metal, highlighting its slightly rounded edges, which would allow us to grip it more comfortably. There is also a fingerprint reader on the back, for mobile payments or to reinforce security. Unlike its older brother, the screen would grow somewhat more and from last year's 5 inches it would be 5.2 inches. The resolution would have also experienced improvements and would now be FullHD, something that is appreciated when viewing multimedia content.
As can be expected, the Honor 5C would have a slightly more advanced technical profile than the Honor 4C. According to the new leak, the device would arrive powered by a processor of the house, a Kirin 650. It is an eight-core chip that promises great power and would be reinforced by a 2 GB RAM. For its part, the internal storage capacity would be 16 GB (expandable through MicroSD type cards of up to 128 GB). Although it may be little capacity for many, you already know that you also have the option of using a cloud storage service such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
In the photographic section, it seems that there would not be too many changes. The Honor 5C would incorporate a 13 megapixel main camera, we assume that with autofocus and LED flash as last year. The few changes we would see on the front, as the secondary camera is expected to grow to 8 megapixels. Other data have also come to light, such as weight and measurements. The new device of the Huawei sub-brand, Honor, would have a weight of 156 grams and exact measurements of 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.3 millimeters, somewhat more restrained than those of its older brother, whose measurements were 143.3 x 71.9 x 8.8 mmand its weight 161 grams. In addition, it would also include a 2,900 mAh battery, a capacity that would not be bad considering its characteristics.
For now they are the only details that we know of this model. We believe that the company would soon present it, especially considering that its predecessor was announced at the end of April last year. In this way, we could find an official announcement for just a few weeks. We will keep you informed.
