Honor could be about to renew its Honor 5X with a new phone that has been seen in recent hours by TENAA, the Chinese certification agency . The device would have a chassis all aluminum and also ride panel 5.5 inch Full HD, processor Snapdragon 625 from Qualcomm, and 2 or 3 GB of RAM. It would also have a fingerprint reader on its back and would arrive governed by Android 6.0 Marshmallow under the EMUI customization layer.
It was last February when the Honor 5X was seen in Spain. It was a phone with a 5.5-inch IPS screen and Full HD resolution, made of metal and with smooth and discreet lines. Apparently the company would be working on a new replacement, which has already passed through TENAA, which would indicate that it could be announced at any time. What is most striking is its appearance, which again has an elegant and sophisticated appearance thanks to its aluminum housing. In addition, the inclusion of a double camera and a fingerprint reader on the back is perfectly appreciated.
The new Honor 6X would mount a 5.5-inch screen with FullHD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). It should be remembered that its older brother has a pixel-by-pixel dynamic contrast adjustment capable of eliminating reflections, so we think that this new device would also have it. In the bowels of this new model we expect, according to data leaked by TENAA, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor accompanied by 2 or 3 GB of RAM. The figure has not been confirmed. For its part, the internal storage capacity would be established at 32 GB, although it could be expanded through the use of microSD cards.
The photographic section would be one of the great surprises of this new generation. The Honor 5X came with a 13-megapixel main camera with dual LED flash and f / 2.0 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary camera, with f / 2.4 aperture and a 22mm wide angle. This year, the Honor 6X would make use of a dual camera, very possibly made by Leica, which would have a resolution of 8 megapixels. In this way, Huawei would begin to incorporate dual cameras in its mid-range phones, and would not use them only for its top range. As for the rest of the features, it is likely that this new phablet incorporates a 4,000 mAh battery, a truly spectacular capacity for a mobile of these characteristics, which would far exceed that of the Honor 5X, which was 3,000 mAh. We also expect it to be governed by Android 6.0 under the EMUI customization layer. Taking into account that the Honor 5X ended up arriving in Spain, it is likely that its replacement will end up running the same fate. In any case we will continue to report as soon as we have new news.
