It seems that Samsung still has a lot to show us this year. In addition to the expected Samsung Galaxy Note 8, the company seems to have some mid-range models ready. Today the supposed Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 has appeared in the TENAA database. A terminal whose main novelty seems to be the incorporation of a double camera on its back. But not only that, we have also been able to discover some of its characteristics. And everything indicates that we are facing a very interesting terminal.
The design of the possible Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 does not offer too many surprises. We have a terminal with a 'very Samsung' design. That is, metallic design, rounded edges, slightly curved finishes on both sides. The oval front button is not missing, which, we assume, will hide the fingerprint reader.
The back is completely smooth and only the double camera stands out. The flash is also eye-catching as it sits just below the camera and breaks up the pristine black a bit.
In terms of technical characteristics, the Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 will include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution.
Inside we will have a processor with eight cores, four at 2.4 GHz and another four at 1.7 GHz. Accompanying this chip we will find 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. So the terminal looks like it will launch with two memory options.
The battery will be 2,850 milliamps, a capacity that seems somewhat short for the screen size of the terminal. However, we have already seen the good work in autonomy that Samsung did with the Samsung Galaxy A3 2017.
At the photographic level, as we mentioned, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 has a double main camera. Specifically we would have a sensor 13 megapixel accompanied by another 5 megapixel. At the moment we do not know what function the second sensor would have.
At the front it would have a 16 megapixel sensor. If confirmed, we would have the same camera for selfies that we saw in the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017.
Finally, the terminal would arrive with Android 7.1.1 Nougat installed as standard. At the moment it is all we know about the terminal, although it should not take long to become official. Of course, the Samsung Galaxy C7 2017 could be aimed exclusively at the Asian market. We will have to wait to see if it finally makes it to Europe.
