ZTE introduced a little over a year ago the ZTE Axon 7, a mid-range terminal with very interesting specifications, at a very attractive price. Through slashleak we have been able to see the images and some specifications of the next ZTE Axon 8, they have been leaked after passing through Tenaa. It seems that it will have a design very similar to the Axon 7, with a metal body. At the back we see a design with a kind of curvature and rounded corners. In the center we find the double camera with the LED flash, just below, the fingerprint reader, in a rounded shape. We also find the ZTE logo at the bottom.
Regarding the front, here we find less news. It seems that they will continue to include front speakers, with the same design as the Axon 7. In addition, the navigation buttons will remain on the chassis. On the other hand, we see that the panel occupies a large part of the front, with apparently very narrow side frames. We see that in the upper part we still have the double camera. We have also seen one of the edges, where you can see the volume up and down buttons, and the on, off and lock button.
ZTE Axon 8, specifications
We have also been able to know some of its specifications. It will incorporate a 5.5-inch OLED panel, with QHD resolution. Inside, we would find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. The double camera will be 12 and 20 megapixels, while the front will stay at 8 megapixels. On the other hand, it will have a 3320 mAh battery, and it will come standard with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The specifications are not as powerful as the current ZTE AXON 7, so it is possibly an improved version of this device. We will have to wait for official confirmation from ZTE.
