A year ago, Sony presented a new range of devices, the Xperia X, these smartphones come to replace the Z range, and are made up of different smartphones from different ranges. One of the most basic of the family was the Xperia XA, which came with a revamped design with almost no side frames. We have already learned that Sony will present several devices during the Mobile World Congress, and it seems that one of them will be a renewal of the XA, images and some features have been leaked. Next, we will tell you about them.
Through the GSMArena website we have been able to see several filtered images of the Sony Xperia XA2, the photographs are not of very good quality, but the device can be perfectly appreciated. In the first we see the back, where the camera located in the corner stands out, and just below an LED flash. In the image the construction material of the device is not appreciated, but being the entry range of the family, we could be talking about polycarbonate.
In two of the four images we can see the front of the device, with the terminal on. Both images are too blurry, but you can see the narrow side frames, like the current Xperia X. Where we will see much more frame is at the top and bottom. In the photograph on the right you can see a reflection, which reveals the 2.5D glass. In addition, on the right side of the device, we see two buttons, one in the center, (which will be the power button) and another at the bottom, (most likely the one dedicated to the camera). Therefore, we can rule out the fingerprint reader. Finally, if we look at the screen, we can see the Android version, 7.1 Nouagat.
In the last image we see one of the edges of the device, with a square shape, resembling the Xperia XZ. The edges could be made of aluminum, because we see a kind of separation, which could be plastic parts so that the antennas are housed.
Also, we have been able to know some important specifications, such as the processor. In this case, it will have an eight-core MediaTek Helio P20, accompanied by 4GB of RAM. As for the camera, the back is 20 megapixels, while the front will remain at 16 megapixels. It will come from the factory with Android 7.1 Nougat and its own customization layer. One of the most interesting news is that it could come without a 3.5 mm jack for the headphones, making double use for the USB Type C Connector (Charging and music). Other features according to the latest rumors, is that it could come with a 5-inch screen and HD resolution. Finally, we also know its possible price and presentation date, and it is that everything points to the first day of the Mobile World Congress of 2017, just as they did last year. The price could be around 320 dollars, which would be about 300 euros to change. As always, we have to wait for Sony to confirm all the specifications.
