It seems that Samsung still has another device from the A range pending to present. According to the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core will become the company's entry model in 2019. It will be a very simple terminal, with a 5 megapixel screen, an Exynos 7870 processor and a 5 megapixel main camera. In addition, it will have the Android Go operating system. Everything seems to indicate that it will be the replacement for the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core, the most economical model of the Korean manufacturer in 2018.
At the design level, the new model is expected to be very similar to the aforementioned Galaxy J2 Core. We would have large frames in the front, both in the upper and lower areas. The back will be made of plastic, but with a rounded finish at the corners. The camera changes its location to be in the upper left corner. The dimensions of the terminal will be 141.5 x 70.9 x 9.1 millimeters.
Basic hardware for a very economical terminal
As you might expect, the technical set offered by the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is very basic. We have a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Inside, an Exynos 7870 processor with eight cores running at 1.6 GHz. It would be accompanied by 1 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 16 GB. This can be expanded using a Micro SD card.

As for the photographic section, it includes a rear camera with a 5 megapixel sensor. Of course, this has an aperture f / 1.9, which will help a lot in low-light photographs. It also includes a 5 megapixel sensor on the front, although this time it makes do with an f / 2.2 aperture. There is no lack of the usual beauty mode.
A 2,600 milliamp battery would complete the technical set. And as we have commented, all this would be governed by the Android Go operating system.
Price and availability
Although it is not fully official yet, the price of the device has already been leaked. The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is expected to arrive in the Indian market in the coming days with an exchange rate of about 70 euros.
Regarding the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core, the processor has been improved and the amount of internal storage increased. It also improves the camera, which, although it maintains the same resolution, greatly improves its aperture. Otherwise, the technical characteristics are practically identical to those of the model seen in 2018.
