The mid-range of the Samsung catalog foresees a total renovation for this year that we just released. The Korean brand has decided to say goodbye to the Samsung Galaxy J and present up to four new terminals that promise a mid-range price with solvent features for the vast majority of users. This time we are going to look at the Samsung Galaxy M20 since an image has been leaked that reveals its entire back.
Dual rear camera and 5,000 mAh battery
According to the leaked image, it would be confirmed that the new Samsung Galaxy M20 would carry a double main camera, located on the left side of the terminal, vertically. Just below the second sensor we would have the LED flash and, to the right of it, the fingerprint sensor with a curious oval shape. In the first upper third of the terminal we will have the name of the brand engraved. We cannot guarantee the material in which it will be built but it is quite shiny.
If we stick to the previous leaks, the new Samsung Galaxy M would have an infinity screen with a drop-shaped notch. However, the panel would be IPS, leaving aside the usual Super AMOLED brand of the house. What is the difference between the two panels? that the IPS reflects more natural and realistic colors and the Super AMOLED more vibrant and saturated colors. It will be a fairly large screen, 6.3 inches and will have Full HD + resolution.
Inside the terminal we will find a processor from the house Exynos 7904, a processor specially designed to offer the best performance of the mid-range that supports cameras up to 32 megapixels. It has eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz and will come with two RAM memories to choose from, 3 and 4 GB. In terms of storage we will also have two alternatives, 32 and 64 GB with the possibility of inserting a microSD card to save space. We do not know which of these configurations will reach European stores or if we can even have the opportunity to buy both.
Battery for two days of use
The highlight of this Samsung terminal would undoubtedly be the enormous capacity of its battery, which would reach 5,000 mAh, beating mobile phones with great autonomy such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5. With 5,000 mAh, the Samsung Galaxy M20 could offer, with regular use, a couple of days of use without using batteries or extra charges. It would be the first Samsung phone to carry such a battery.
We have already referred to the double camera of this Samsung Galaxy M20. It would have 13 + 5 megapixels compared to the main camera and 5 megapixels in the selfie camera. In addition, this device would have a reversible USB Type C connection and Android 8.0 Oreo, a point that reveals that we are facing a terminal with a fairly adjusted price. We could expect Android 9 Pie in 2019 but Samsung has decided to cut back in this regard to offer a somewhat cheaper terminal. According to all rumors, it will go on sale in India for a price of 11 lakhs, which is about 135 euros at the exchange rate in euros.
