In the absence of a few hours for the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S5 at the Mobile World Congress 2014 mobile phone event that is currently being held in Barcelona, we can already see first-hand what the appearance of one of the mobiles that will give the most of what will be like speak during the year 2014. Recall that the Samsung Galaxy S5 from the South Korean company Samsung is a smartphone about which practically no data is known in a completely official way.
Even so, from the different photographs that have been filtered throughout the afternoon we can see in detail the final appearance that this terminal will have. The first thing that stands out is that this new Samsung Galaxy S5 looks largely like the Samsung Galaxy S4, and everything indicates that the South Koreans have decided not to incorporate any of the technologies that have been talked about so much in recent weeks. The only novelty that does seem to have been incorporated into this terminal is the digital fingerprint scanner, which is integrated with the start button (the button that appears at the bottom of the screen). This scanner would not only serve to unlock the phone, but it would also be used to make payments with the PayPal application.
For the rest, we do not see any iris reader nor do we appreciate the commented disappearance of physical buttons. In the event that these images were true, practically all the news of this mobile would be hidden inside. And it is precisely the interior of this phone that generates the most doubts regarding its components.
Some sources speak of an eight-core processor, other sources point to a traditional Qualcomm processor with more than 2 GHz clock speed… the only certainty is that at the moment all this information is extra-official, so that we cannot affirm surely the processor model that Samsung has decided to use in its next flagship.
One feature that does seem to have many ballots coming true is resistance to water and dust. The Samsung Galaxy S5 would incorporate additional protection that would allow it to resist small splashes of water and some accidental falls into liquids or into sand, although this would not mean that the terminal could be completely submersible.
In short, we have to content ourselves with satiating our appetite to know the technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S5 with the rumors that are leaking today. In a few hours, during the Samsung Unpacked 5 event, we will leave doubts and know all the details of this long-awaited smartphone.
