A few days to know officially how the new Samsung flagship will be, we do not stop receiving leaks that reveal a little more about the characteristics of the device. As you know, Samsung will present the Galaxy S7 and its variant with curved screen Galaxy S7 Edge on February 21 in its traditional Unpacked prior to the Mobile World Congress. In the last hours, the Chinese Weibo social network has witnessed one of the first real images of the second model mentioned. The Galaxy S7 EdgeIt has been seen on the web, showing its front part, which is very similar to that of the previous generation. Logically, for now, this new information must be questioned, it could be the terminal, but it could also end up being a montage.
In any case, as we can see in the image below, the new Galaxy S7 Edge would once again curve on both sides of its screen, this time with an even more pronounced curvature. If you look closely, the edges are more accentuated than those we saw on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Otherwise it would be practically the same, with a screen that could well be 5.5 inches this time, as the latest rumors suggest.
Parallel to this image, additional information has also appeared, since the filtered capture itself also shows the result that the terminal would have obtained in the AnTuTu performance test on the screen. This allows us to get a slight idea of what the final power of the South Korean's next curved screen could be. The Galaxy S7 Edge would have obtained (if this leak were true) a score of 134,704 points, a figure that reflects quite powerful hardware, especially if we compare it with the 125,288 points that the Samsung Galaxy S7 achieved in previous tests .
Data such as type of processor or RAM are not shown, but all rumors assure that Samsung's new high-end would include the latest chips from Qualcomm and Samsung itself , to be distributed by region. In this way, we would find two different versions that would be distinguished by the SoC. One would arrive powered by a Snapdragon 820 (quad-core) and another by an Exynos 8890, also known as M1. In both cases the RAM would be 4GB. For its part, the screen would be Super AMOLED type and would have a size of 5.5 inches and a QHD resolution(2,560 x 1,440 pixels). For the rest, the camera would have a lower resolution than that of the Galaxy S6 Edge, 12 megapixels, but it would integrate larger pixels to achieve higher quality images. The aperture would increase to f / 1.7, achieving a new record in the sector, and it would also have a higher-amp battery (3,600mAh), which would be optimized to consume less power. In just a few days we will get rid of doubts and we will know if these leaks are real or not.
