At the moment we have our eyes set on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The South Korean plans to announce its next great mobile in just over a month. However, we cannot ignore other types of leaks, although there is still a long way to go before they become official. The latter are related to its next flagship. Specifically, the sizes of the screens of the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 + would have appeared. Apparently, both would be the same size as the current Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +. They would be 5.8 and 6.2 inches, respectively.
Also, the two panels (OLED) would be slightly curved on both sides and would again have the Infinity Display technology. For those who still do not know, this technology allows you to have reduced frames on a fairly large screen size, without having the feeling that we are dealing with a very robust mobile. That is, despite including such a large panel we can use the mobile comfortably, even with just one hand.
Fingerprint reader, now yes, included in the screen
The great novelty that we will see in the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + is related to the fingerprint reader. According to Phonearena, this time it would be integrated into the touch panel itself. This is something that the company has not been able to achieve this year in the Galaxy S8 and that we do not know if it will be able to do it in time in the next Note 8. Therefore, we will stop seeing it included in the back, which would make it win, without doubt, in design and comfort.
Likewise, the same leak also maintains that the company's screen division, Samsung Display, would also have received preliminary details for the Note 9 panel. There is talk of a size of 6.32 inches, which makes us think that this would be really the same panel that would land on the Note 8 next month. This is a slightly larger diagonal than the S8 +.
And what other features are known from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9? As we informed you a few weeks ago, apparently both the standard and the Plus versions would arrive powered by an Exynos 9810 processor (with CDMA network support). For their part, they are expected again with an elegant design, with an aluminum body and without a physical start button. It is very likely that a 6 GB RAM memory is included, as well as an improved photographic section.
