A week after the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy S10, the first real video of the terminal has just been filtered. Specifically, it is the Plus version with a fingerprint sensor on the screen. In the video in question you can see, in addition to the design, the operation of its sensor and its size. It is precisely the latter that will be smaller than originally thought, with dimensions similar to that of current infrared fingerprint sensors such as those of the OnePlus 6T or the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Much has been said in recent months about the supposed fingerprint sensor of the Galaxy S10. After countless rumors, it seems that both the S10 and S10 Plus will feature a sensor based on ultrasound technology.
This technology, unlike the current ones based on infrared, allows, among other things, to expand the recognition area of the finger. At least that was the way it was in theory. And, as can be seen in the video of the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, the terminal will have a limited region of recognition very similar in size to that of the aforementioned OnePlus and Huawei models.
Furthermore, as can be seen in the same filtered video, the area in question may not be covered by any type of screen protection, see tempered glass, hydrogel-based protection or plastic sheets. The only question that remains to be resolved has to do with the speed of sensor recognition. Recall that the technology presented by Samsung months ago promised, among other things, greater speed when unlocking the device. We will have to wait until February 20 to see if it will finally be like that or if on the contrary it will be very similar to the OnePlus 6T and Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
As for the rest of the details of the filtered video, aspects such as the curvature of the screen or its proportion with respect to the S9 can be observed, much more square than in previous generations. You can also see part of the side of the S10 Plus, revealing its total thickness in hand, something more pronounced than the S9 Plus. It should be noted that the Plus model will have a 4,100 mAh battery in just over 6.3 inches, which will influence not only the weight of the terminal but also its thickness.
