The Mobile World Congress comes to an end today and brands continue to present mobile phones for this newly released 2019. A few minutes ago it was Samsung who presented the Samsung Galaxy A10 to the public. Now it is Huawei that, thanks to a new leak through the My Smart Price website, reveals the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 in full. The terminal arrives to precede last year's Huawei Y6 with a design and a series of renewed features compared to the aforementioned model.
The Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 will arrive with notch and mid-range features
Huawei's Y series, like Samsung's A series, has historically been destined for the low-end or entry-level mobile. We saw it last year with the Huawei Y6 2018, a terminal that today can be found for 108 euros in stores like Amazon. Today it is announced what its renewal is supposed to be. We are talking about the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019.
As we can see in the leaked images, the terminal will have the same design as the Huawei P Smart 2019, although with somewhat less used frames. The rest of the aspects are practically identical, with a teardrop notch and a similar screen ratio based on a 6.1-inch panel and HD + resolution. While it is true that the back has not yet been revealed, it is expected to have the same appearance as that of the aforementioned terminal, with a double rear camera and a fingerprint sensor presiding over the central part of the mobile.
As for the rest of the features, the leak confirms that it will come with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, possibly expandable via micro SD cards. The processor model has not been revealed, but given the brand's history with the Y series, it is expected to feature a Snapdragon 400 series processor, probably the Snapdragon 450. It is not ruled out that Huawei opts for a 600 series processor.
For the rest, it is known that it will come with Android 9 Pie under EMUI 9.0. Aspects such as the battery capacity or the characteristics of the cameras are still unknown. We will have to wait for new leaks or the presentation of the Huawei Y6 Prime 2019 to know them in detail. The latter, given the significance of the leak, could take place in the coming weeks in China and soon in Europe and Spain.
