It's official: the presentation of the iPhone 11 will take place on September 10. Along with this, two new models will arrive with a name that until today was unknown. Thanks to the filtration of several covers corresponding to Apple phones, we can know the name of its three models, as well as the design and part of its characteristics, which coincide with what has been rumored for some time now.
iPhone 11: three versions with two and three cameras
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, those are the nomenclatures that will give name to the new generation of Apple phones. The leak comes to us through Ben Geskin, a well-known designer who just a few hours ago published several images that correspond to the official Apple cases.
As we can see in the images, the new iPhone models would use a camera module made up of two and three sensors: two for the iPhone 11 and three for the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Together with this module we would find a coating made of glass that would house the different camera sensors, as has been rumored for some months.
Regarding the size of the three devices, Apple has decided to keep the dimensions of the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max: 5.8, 6.1 and 6.5 inches. It is possible, however, that the iPhone 11 increases its diagonal due to the improvement in the percentage of surface use. Remember that all the rumors suggest that Apple's cheapest model will have an OLED screen, which would allow the company to maximize the screen ratio.
The rest of the features will use, predictably, an Apple A13 Bionic processor, 3 and 4 GB of RAM and memory configurations that will range between 64, and 512 GB, through 128 and 256 GB. The doubt now falls on the cameras, of which no details are known beyond the number of sensors or the type of lens used: angular, wide-angle, telephoto and ToF. We will have to wait, therefore, for the official presentation that will take place on September 10.
