Android P has not yet arrived for most of the phones and tablets on the market and what appears to be Android Q, the next version of the green android system, has already been leaked. It was this morning through the XDA-Developers forum, and despite the fact that it is a test version, it lets us see a good part of the features that Android 10.0 will integrate as standard. We talk about functions such as a native PC mode or a configurable dark mode from the phone's settings, among others.
Android Q: these are all the features of Android 10
It seems that Android Q will be the version of the system that will introduce the most changes compared to previous versions. In addition to the news that we just mentioned, Android 10.0 will come with new settings, functions and possibilities. In terms of design, the system displays exactly the same as Android Pie, except for dark mode.
Dark mode
The first of the novelties and surely one of the most anticipated by the users of the system is the dark mode. According to the people of XDA, this mode can be activated directly from the settings and allows you to configure a time slot to activate automatically if we wish. The mode in question changes the interface to black color of practically the entire system: settings, Launcher, notification bar and system applications.
PC mode
Although XDA has not given many details about this mode, they ensure that in the Development Options there is an option called "Force desktop mode" and "Force experimental desktop mode on secondary displays". This makes us think that the tenth version of the system will be natively compatible with external displays and a PC mode similar to Samsung DeX.
Redesigned permissions
The third of the novelties is based on the redesign of the permits. If in Android 9 Pie the permissions are organized in isolation in each installed application, this time they are configured depending on the permission in question. Thus, we can see all the applications that make use of the storage, the camera or the microphone in a much more visual way than before.
Other novelties
As for the rest of the news, the page confirms that new options have been introduced in the Accessibility section and in the Developed Options section.
Functions such as the possibility of choosing a graphic driver for games or adjusting the waiting time for messages or actions when we press the screen to interact with them. You can see all the news and screenshots on the XDA page.
