Thanks to the technological information blog specialized in Samsung, Sammobile, we know that the next Samsung terminal, the Samsung Galaxy A8 + 2018 will arrive on store shelves in three different models, corresponding to three different RAM memory capacities. Thus, the different versions of this new Samsung Galaxy A8 + 2018 would be:
- A model with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage
- Another 4GB model with 64GB of internal storage
- A third model, which would be sold exclusively in the Asian market in countries like China, with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The first two models are expected to make an appearance on the European market in 2018. In Spain, unfortunately, only one of the first two variants is usually offered, mainly the lightest.
The first Samsung terminal with a double front camera
As for the rest of the features that we hope to find in this new Samsung mid-range we have:
A generous 6-inch screen, of course with full HD AMOLED technology on a front with quite reduced frames, notification LEDs and, surprisingly, double selfie camera sensor, the first time in a Samsung terminal. On the other hand, and despite the fact that it has already made an appearance in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, we will not have a double camera. This double selfie sensor would consist of 16 and 8 megapixels. In addition, the double selfie camera would have Samsung Live Focus: a technology in which we can, live and direct, isolate the object or person in the foreground from the background, adding or reducing opacity to it. The main camera will have, for its part, 16 megapixels.
As for the processor, we will see an eight-core Exynos 7885. In addition, Bluetooth 5.0 support, to which we can connect two different sources (for example, two speakers). As for its battery, 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging support, 100 mAh less than its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy A7 from 2017. In addition to face unlock and Bixby button (still waiting for availability in Spanish), we will have Samsung Experience 8.5 that runs under Android 7 Nougat. The update to Android 8 Oreo is more than guaranteed.
