The Huawei Ascend Mate 3 is practically here. With a month to go until IFA 2014, an event in which Huawei will present its news for the final stretch of this year, a new leak has just revealed the technical specifications of the Huawei Ascend Mate 3. The leak comes from a performance test of this same smartphone, so it is the most reliable source that exists when it comes to knowing the technical specifications of a mobile.
Under this performance test, the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 incorporates a screen of 6.1 inches to reach a resolution of 1,080 pixels. The processor chosen for this terminal is a HISILICON Kirin 920 of eight cores running at a clock speed that still has not been exactly specified (keep in mind that this works processor divided into two groups: four cores on one side and four nuclei by another). The capacity of the RAM memory is established in a figure that is between 2 and 3 GigaBytes (it could even be two different versions, one with2 GigaBytes of RAM and another with 3 GigaBytes of RAM). The operating system corresponds to Android in its version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Regarding the multimedia aspect, the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 incorporates the same features as its predecessor, the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G. This means that the main camera comes with a sensor 13 megapixel accompanied by LED flash, while the front camera has a sensor to five megapixels. The main camera is capable of recording videos with a resolution of 1,080 pixels at 30 frames per second, while snapshots obtained with it reach a resolution of 4,128 x 3,096 pixels.
The specifications that have been released from the leak reach here, but if we refer to the rumors we will see that the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 could incorporate other additional news. One of them would be the digital fingerprint scanner, which is increasingly present in high-end smartphones from other manufacturers. In the case of the Huawei Ascend Mate 3, the fingerprint reader would be located at the back of the terminal, below the main camera.
The presentation of the Huawei Ascend Mate 3 is expected to take place on September 4, coinciding with the celebration of the IFA 2014 technological event in the city of Berlin, which will take place between the 5th and 10th of that month. Nor should we rule out the possibility that during this same event, for example, the global availability of the Huawei Honor 6 will be announced, which today is only distributed in the Asian market.
