Google is keen to increase its Nexus product range. And the best way is to adapt famous terminals on the market. It has already happened with Samsung's flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S4. And now it is the turn of the HTC team, the HTC One, which will also be added to the Internet giant's catalog of offers with a price of 600 dollars (about 460 euros at the current exchange rate).
The HTC One is one of the best prepared devices on the market: its design attracts a lot of attention; offers a new experience in its photographic part and its user interface is completely renewed. However, Google will sell an optimized version called HTC One Nexus Experience, which will have the same technical characteristics as the original model "" the one that HTC sells directly "" and will erase all traces of the manufacturer's user interface to make way to a completely clean Android install - something like what the Nexus 4 offers.
The sale of this terminal will be done through the application store "" and hardware "" Google Play. Its price will be 600 dollars, this being a completely free equipment that can be used with any operator. It will be launched on June 26 and, for the moment, it will only be available on North American soil, being compatible with the networks of the AT&T and T-Mobile operators.
One of the advantages of acquiring this new HTC One Nexus Experience is that it will be one of the first computers to receive the next updates to the mobile operating system. The market will come with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version, although the Android 4.3 version is already sounding strongly for the next few weeks.
Now, one of the disadvantages of these Samsung and HTC phones without their respective personalized layers in charge of the companies is that many of the functions that were added through this channel will be lost. For example, on the HTC One Nexus Experience, you will lose the HTC Blinkfeed feature, an option that displays all information from popular pages or from different social network accounts, from the home screen.
Now, the model that will be sold from June in the United States will have an internal memory of 32 GigaBytes. Its screen will continue to have a size of 4.7 inches diagonally achieving a maximum resolution of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). Meanwhile, the technology used in its camera, HTC Ultrapixel, will also continue to be present, resulting in brighter photos, in addition to having to use less of the built-in flash.
The declared power will be in charge of a Qualcomm quad-core processor with a working frequency of 1.7 GHz and a RAM of two GigaBytes. But we must not forget the front camera of 2.1 megapixel for video calls or the ability to make video recordings in Full HD quality for then share all the material with other computers through technologies such as NFC or DLNA.
