While yesterday we knew that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will incorporate a fully customizable button, this time another of its specifications has been practically confirmed: it is the size of the screen, which will be set at 5.2 inches. This is demonstrated by a new image in which some of the technical specifications that this new mobile phone will bring with it appear.
In this image you can also see that the official name of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active is " SAMSUNG SM-G870A ". The operating system installed as standard is Android in its latest version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The screen pixel density is 480 ppi, while the resolution appears to be 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.
Precisely based on leaks we are knowing practically all the characteristics of the new mobile of the Korean firm Samsung, a terminal that has not yet been confirmed or officially presented. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, a new version of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5. This new version will have a processor and internal characteristics similar to those of the Galaxy S5 with the difference that the case will be oriented towards extreme situations in which greater resistance of the mobile is required against any unforeseen event (water, bumps, falls, etc.).
The most noticeable new feature at first sight in the front of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will be the tactile physical buttons. While the South Korean company Samsung has us accustomed to the buttons directly integrated into the housing, with the Active edition of the S5 we will find three physical buttons that in principle would be oriented to facilitate its handling even with gloves.
As for the internal specifications, everything seems to indicate that the processor fitted as standard on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will respond to the name of Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, it will be quad - core and work in the company of a memory RAM of two gigabytes. The internal storage capacity will be 16 GigaBytes, and again we assume that we will have a slot for microSD cards up to a maximum of 32 or even 64 GigaBytes.
The main camera seems to remain the same as in the Samsung Galaxy S5, as rumors speak of a sensor of 16 megapixels that will be accompanied by an LED flash aimed at improving lighting in photographs taken at night. And with regard to the characteristic of water resistance, everything seems to point to the fact that instead of the IP67 certification we will have an even higher certification that will guarantee a greater depth distance when submerging the mobile in water (as well as a longer time of exposition).
Seeing that more and more rumors appear in relation to this mobile, it is most likely that in a matter of weeks we will know all the official information related to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.
