In the last two years we have heard a lot about the Huawei Honor 6X, the next member of the Honor family, rumors of all kinds that have been advancing, but now we can finally have a definitive vision of the device when Huawei announces an official presentation next October 18th. A phone that succeeds the Huawei Honor 5X as a 5.5-inch phone, and that follows the Honor 6 in terms of hardware. On the one hand, we maintain a similar frame, although thinner, with 7.5 millimeters thick, with a Full HD screen resolution. On the other, three cameras and aeight-core processor. They are still rumors, but in just a week we will be able to know if they are fulfilled or not.
Triple camera
From the leaked photos we already know that the Huwei Honor 6X will continue the trend started with the Huawei Honor 6 Plus of introducing dual rear cameras in the mid-range. Two cameras with the same size, we do not know what their different functions would be, and also an LED flash, which is not dual, but simple. In the front we have a camera, it does not seem to take flash, and sources say include an 8 megapixel sensor.
Processor and memory
Continuing with the rumors, it is expected that the Huawei Honor 6X would carry an eight-core processor with a speed of 2.1 GHz, and a RAM of 3 or 4 GB. For internal storage, a 32GB version and a 64GB version are expected to be offered. The expected operating system is Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Autonomy
The battery of the next Huawei Honor 6x would be 3270 mAh, which would be halfway between the powerful 3600 mAh of capacity of its Huawei Honor 6 Plus, and the more limited 3000 mAh of the Huawei Honor 5X. We do not know yet if the battery would be removable, as if the dynamics remains of previous releases, the housing is unibody, although elements of the leaked photos, especially from the rear and the side, which could change the trend and retrieve the back cover and removable battery.
Design
Without knowing if there will be more colors, for now we can only talk about the model in silver, already a classic in the Honor saga, with the logo both behind and in front, also maintaining the usual aesthetics. We see the fingerprint sensor on the back, and a camera that protrudes a bit from that 7.5 mm fineness that we have told you about before. In terms of aesthetics, metallic texture, no roughness or relief, also the same as in previous Honor models. We don't expect surprises on this side then.
More Presentations
If Huawei's mid-range will be revitalized on October 18 with its Honor 6X, the high-end will also receive new air with the presentation, on November 3, of its Huawei Mate 9. A powerful device with a self-made processor and a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging is expected. For memory RAM they are expected 6 GB, and the ROM, to 256 GB.
