Despite being the youngest, it seems that Windows Phone 7 is considered one of the most important platforms to consider for next 2011. So at least a couple of Thai sources specialized in this mobile phone have assured it. And also, they do it by targeting two manufacturers: Samsung and HTC. According to the representative of Samsung's Thai division, the company will manufacture 24 Android-equipped mobiles for every 50 devices designed to work with Windows Phone 7, reserving only five mobiles for its native platform, Samsung Bada , in this rule of three .
If we translate these figures, which of course does not represent an official statement from the Korean company's headquarters, we will see that the distribution of platforms for the production of Samsung smartphones would be represented by 60 percent of Windows Phone 7 mobiles compared to 30 Android devices percent and Bada six percent (reserving a residual four percent for low-end smartphones).
Being the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones and smartphones in the world, one might think that Samsung can afford risky strategies of this type. But the apparent good projection that is predicted for Windows Phone 7 seems that it would also be supported by the Taiwanese HTC.
This manufacturer has not provided such concrete figures through the Thai regional boss as has its counterpart in Samsung, but has also pointed out that the direction to be followed by the company's strategy in 2011 is closely linked to work with Windows Phone 7.
Among the plans expressed by Nattawat Woronopakul (the head of the unpronounceable name at HTC in Thailand), it has been made clear that for next year we will see more than 30 mobile phones from the Taiwanese firm, which will be filled with Android and Windows Phone 7 (although as we say, it is not specified what percentage of both will be in the market).
